Business Retail Partnership Specialist (Tech and Durable) – Fixed Term 12 Months
Looking in Northern Italy, the position is based in Milan with hybrid mode. The role requires travel within Central/Northern Italy approximately two times per week. It is full‑time with an immediate start date.
Responsibilities
Identify and engage key industry touchpoints, promoting NIQ’s Tech and Durable data partnership model. Expand coverage through retailer recruitment using direct approaches, industry organisations, and software providers to diversify data sourcing. Refine and enhance GfK’s value proposition to align with market dynamics and customer needs. Provide expert feedback on pitch documents, crafting compelling narratives tailored to stakeholders. Coordinate internally with data science and operations teams to integrate new retailers and banners. Develop action plans, maintain pipeline, negotiate agreements, and drive commercial excellence.
Qualifications
1‑3 years of relevant experience. Strong sales skills and proven ability to achieve target scope. Solid understanding of data analytics industry, business models, products, services and solutions. Awareness of market trends and their interdependencies impacting customers. Fluency in Italian and English. Availability to travel to small‑medium retailer clients in Central/Northern Italy (2 times per week) and possession of own vehicle. Fixed‑term contract of 12 months.

Location and Travel Requirements The role is based in Northern Italy and is conducted in a hybrid mode with some working days in the local office in Milan.
