Business Project Management & Implementation structure is in charge of coordinating project management activities related to strategic and transformation projects in the Operations remit. The function is organized as follows:
- The Business Project Management structure is in charge of managing strategic projects along with coordinating smart automation initiatives and other innovation solutions and technologies for Operations area
- The Business Implementation structure is in charge of coordinating all the initiatives related to the operating platforms, including both new processes and amendments to existing ones
The ideal candidate will work on the project management activities, with an overview both on business project management and implementation activities, supporting the Head of Operations in strategic initiatives.
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Supporting the relevant stakeholders involved in the project
- Defining the project governance
- Planning, organizing, and monitoring project activities and budget requirements according to the identified target operating model
- Ensuring the achievement of project targets within the defined deadlines and implementing relevant escalation processes in case of deviations, proposing solutions and action plans
- Preparing the relevant supporting documents through the project lifecycle
- Support the Head of Operations in strategic activities/ initiatives
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in fields such as Economics and Engineering
- At least 1 year of experience in Financial Services/ Asset management industry or in top tier consultancy firms with focus on Financial Services/ Asset Management
- Italian and Fluent English are minimum requirements, additional languages (French/ German) will be considered a plus
- Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate ownership and accountability for project deliverables
- Ability to work with different stakeholders
- Ability to challenge status quo and support challenge with logical rationale
- Effective leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Sound decision making skills in highly challenging scenarios
