Business Partner Production Controller Italy

KWS ITALIA S.P.A. is seeking a Business Partner Production Controller Italy to act as the financial co‑pilot for our local production site. This position might be based in Forlì or in Monselice . In this strategic role, you will ensure cost transparency, operational efficiency, and fact‑based decision-making by partnering closely with production, supply chain, and finance teams—both locally and internationally.

Responsibilities

Business Partnering & Advisory

• Serve as a trusted financial advisor for production and maintenance teams.
• Support the Team Lead Business Partners Finance & Controlling in steering and decision-making.

Cost Controlling & Analysis

• Collect and analyze production costs; maintain and review standard costs.
• Conduct variance analyses (plan vs. actual vs. standard) and identify savings opportunities.
• Monitor material usage, scrap, and production waste.

Planning, Forecasting & Reporting

• Support budgeting, forecasting, COGM calculations, and cost modeling.
• Contribute to quarterly closings (Material Ledger, WIP, COGS by crop).
• Support KPI reporting and plant performance dashboards.

Inventory & Governance

• Ensure accurate inventory reporting, including devaluations and write-offs.
• Collaborate with international controlling teams to ensure alignment and governance.
• Support cost roll-ups, compliance with standards, and continuous process improvement.

Your Profile

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, agribusiness, or similar.
• Several years of experience in production or plant controlling, ideally in an international environment.
• Strong SAP (CO, ML, CO‑PA) and Excel skills; BI tools are a plus.
• Fluent English and Italian are mandatory
• Analytical, structured, hands-on, and able to work effectively across teams.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a strong team player.
