Business Partner – Consulting

Role Overview

Barrington James are excited to post a fantastic opportunity for one of our close clients. This is an established healthcare consultancy seeking a Business Partner operating in hybrid model driving business change as well as strategic and technical direction. This individual will lead and deliver strategic consultancy projects directly and through dedicated project teams, ensuring high-quality execution aligned with client objectives and business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive business growth by selecting and developing new market opportunities, with a focus on digitalization initiatives as well as developing new businesses.
• Act as an advisor to the Leadership Team on consultancy strategy and brand positioning.
• Recommend strategic partnerships that support digital transformation and long-term business expansion.
• Translate client needs into practical, tailored solutions
• Gather insights through interviews, observations, surveys, and document reviews
• Deliver clear, actionable recommendations aligned with business goals and regulations
• Present strategic proposals with practical implementation plans
• Support clients through implementation and troubleshoot issues
• Lead consultancy projects on time and within budget
• Build and manage project teams alongside senior leadership
• Collaborate with Marketing, Business Development, and Operations to drive growth
• Ensure client requirements are met and identify service development opportunities
• Manage the Consultancy unit budget

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Life Sciences, ideally within a Technical or CRO environment, with particular knowledge in Pharmacovigilance and Clinical Trials.
• At least 5 years experience in consulting.
• Minimum bachelors degree level education.
• Strong experience in strategic account management and consultancy project leadership.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks.
• Strong commercial and market awareness.
• Fluent in English.
