A Milan-based Continuing Medical Education (CME) provider is seeking a Business Lead to drive company growth by shaping an effective commercial and engagement strategy while leading and inspiring a high-performing team.
Goals and Responsibilities
- Building a strong network of relationships with key market stakeholders, both at local and international level
- Identify market trends, insights, needs and opportunities
- Develop and execute strategies that align with the Company's goals and objectives
- Supervise (contributing to) the design, the co-creation, and the delivery of medical education solutions that bring value to the scientific community, the clients, and the patients.
- Lead and motivate the Company teams to excel, build a strong reputation and grow, with new clients’ acquisition and clients’ portfolio consolidation.
- Build and manage the P&L, ensure financial results, and a timely monthly reporting to board members and other stakeholders.
- Creating and implementing policies and procedures that ensure operational excellence and regulatory compliance
- Leading, coaching, and mentoring the Company teams with authenticity, to promote collaboration, enhance performance and professional growth
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or in scientific/medical disciplines
- At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience and in CME sector
- Knowledge and experience with EU/International CME market rules and dynamics.
- Proven ability to develop and execute effective strategies through teamwork, collaboration, and driving change initiatives
- Ability to deal with senior management and board members
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships and inspire others to achieve results
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of budget management and financial reporting
- Champion innovation and continuous improvement to drive growth and optimize business results
- Italian and English speaking
