A Milan-based Continuing Medical Education (CME) provider is seeking a Business Lead to drive company growth by shaping an effective commercial and engagement strategy while leading and inspiring a high-performing team.

Goals and Responsibilities

  • Building a strong network of relationships with key market stakeholders, both at local and international level
  • Identify market trends, insights, needs and opportunities
  • Develop and execute strategies that align with the Company's goals and objectives
  • Supervise (contributing to) the design, the co-creation, and the delivery of medical education solutions that bring value to the scientific community, the clients, and the patients.
  • Lead and motivate the Company teams to excel, build a strong reputation and grow, with new clients’ acquisition and clients’ portfolio consolidation.
  • Build and manage the P&L, ensure financial results, and a timely monthly reporting to board members and other stakeholders.
  • Creating and implementing policies and procedures that ensure operational excellence and regulatory compliance
  • Leading, coaching, and mentoring the Company teams with authenticity, to promote collaboration, enhance performance and professional growth


Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or in scientific/medical disciplines
  • At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience and in CME sector
  • Knowledge and experience with EU/International CME market rules and dynamics.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute effective strategies through teamwork, collaboration, and driving change initiatives
  • Ability to deal with senior management and board members
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships and inspire others to achieve results
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of budget management and financial reporting
  • Champion innovation and continuous improvement to drive growth and optimize business results
  • Italian and English speaking
