BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST


Job Description

The candidate will become the leading member of the Business Intelligence Team and will collaborate with the rest of the IT Team on projects for companies of the Elemaster group.

He/She will design, develop and maintain Business Intelligence solutions to support Business Processes; collaborating transversally with Finance, Operations, HR, Sales, Facilities and Project Management departments.

The desired methodology is “design once, run everywhere” since Elemaster is a group of multinational companies.

The Candidate will also guide the Artificial Intelligence Projects Elemaster is implementing internally and partners; efforts aimed at improving daily productivity on key Business Processes.

He/She will become part of a young, multicultural and skilled team where we welcome new ideas and skillsets. We prefer quality over quantity and try to implement long-term solutions that help the business thrive.


Technical Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of SQL language and Tools; in particular SqlServer and Oracle
  • Proven experience with OLAP solutions; DAX language and SSAS are considered a plus
  • ETL tools and techniques
  • Experience with cloud and on-premise integration
  • Business Intelligence Tools; PowerBI and Board preferred

  • Financial skills (basic):
  • Consolidated financial statements
  • Economic and financial KPIs
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and ESG reporting processes
  • Ability to communicate with Finance and Sustainability functions to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Advanced AI and analytics (plus)
  • Interest or knowledge of Artificial Intelligence applied to BI, for example:
  • Forecasting algorithms
  • Customer or supplier segmentation
  • Automated data analysis

  • Strong focus on results and continuous improvement

  • Ability to communicate with business users and technicians
