Business Development Specialist – South America & Mexico Region

(International relocation required)


Savino Del Bene is seeking motivated candidates interested in pursuing an international professional development path, with placement in one of the following strategic locations: Mexico, Argentina, Peru, Brazil, Colombia, and Chile .

The Role

The selected candidate, appointed as Business Development Specialist , after an initial onboarding and shadowing period, will be responsible for:

  • Developing business within the assigned area
  • Consolidating and expanding the customer portfolio
  • Supporting the growth of the local structure through a consultative and results-oriented approach


This role represents a key opportunity to gain an international perspective of the business, develop a cross-functional understanding of company operations, actively contribute to the region’s strategic growth, and operate as a true team player in a multicultural environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and strengthen commercial relationships with local and global clients
  • Identify new business opportunities through market analysis and prospecting activities
  • Manage requests and opportunities in coordination with foreign branches and the WW Head Office in Florence
  • Prepare offers and quotations in synergy with operational departments
  • Monitor commercial KPIs and sales performance, contributing to the achievement of branch targets
  • Utilize digital tools and corporate CRM systems to manage sales activities and pipeline effectively


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Availability for international relocation for a minimum period of 3–5 years
  • At least 2+ years of operational experience in the Freight Forwarding industry is mandatory
  • Fluency in Italian (C1 level) and a good command of English (minimum B2 level)
  • Entry level of Spanish (minimum B1) or alternatively, a strong willingness to develop this language quickly is required.
  • Technological competencies, including familiarity with CRM systems and digital sales support tools
  • Strong commercial and results-oriented mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and intercultural skills
  • Analytical and numerical competencies
  • Organisational skills, problem-solving ability, and priority management
  • Accuracy, accountability, and a proactive attitude
  • Strong team-working skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
