Job description

As a Business Developer Junior at Otoqi, you will play a key role in accelerating our growth and expanding our presence in the Italian market. The primary objective is to identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities while contributing to the expansion of our customer portfolio in the automotive, logistics, and mobility sectors in Italy.

Main Responsibilities

  • Identify, target and engage high‑potential accounts in the automotive, logistics and mobility sectors across Italy.
  • Execute multi‑channel acquisition strategies (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking) to generate qualified opportunities.
  • Understand prospects’ operational challenges, qualify needs and identify decision‑makers to ensure high‑quality meetings for the Sales team.
  • Secure strategic meetings with key stakeholders (Fleet Managers, Operations Directors, Mobility Managers, etc.).
  • Create account‑based strategies for high‑potential mid‑market accounts, map key stakeholders, design tailored outreach plans and nurture opportunities for long‑term growth.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data, track lead progression and ensure smooth handover to Business Developers.
  • Monitor KPIs (calls, meetings, conversion rates), analyze results and continuously optimize outreach strategies.
  • Work closely with Sales and Growth teams to refine targeting, messaging and go‑to‑market strategy.

  • Deliver a consistent and growing number of qualified meetings for the sales team.
  • Improve lead‑to‑meeting and meeting‑to‑opportunity conversion rates.
