Your Mission:
As a Business Development Representative, you will be the crucial link between our market-leading product and new clients. You will be responsible for generating and qualifying a robust pipeline of sales opportunities, acting as the first point of contact for potential customers and setting the stage for our sales executives to close deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hunt New Opportunities: Proactively source new sales leads through a mix of inbound lead follow-up and strategic outbound efforts, including cold calls and targeted emails.
- Understand & Qualify: Engage with prospects to deeply understand their business needs and challenges, effectively qualifying opportunities.
- Drive the Pipeline: Route qualified leads to the appropriate sales executives, ensuring a seamless handover for further development and closure.
- Market Intelligence: Research new accounts, identify key decision-makers, and generate interest through coordinated marketing activities.
- Manage Your Territory: Maintain and expand a comprehensive database of prospects within your assigned territory.
What We're Looking For:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in software sales , with a strong preference for backgrounds in EPM, CPM, or related financial software.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade.
- Native or bilingual proficiency in Italian is essential. Fluency in English is required, and Spanish language skills are a significant plus.
- Strong listening and presentation abilities.
- A proven track record of multitasking, prioritizing, and managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on experience with a CRM, preferably Salesforce.com .
- Knowledge of financial processes is highly advantageous.
- A bachelor's degree is desirable.
