Job Summary

We’re hiring a Business Development Representative to accelerate ShippyPro’s growth, with a primary focus on generating new business opportunities through proactive outreach, qualification, and pipeline development.

About Us

Our journey began with a vision to Make people work better and today, after our recent Series B funding round of $15M, we are leading rapid growth in shipping, fulfillment, and supply chain solutions for e-commerce and merchant businesses across Italy and Europe.

The Product

ShippyPro is a shipping and fulfillment platform that helps merchants automate the entire shipping workflow, from choosing the best carrier service to generating labels and tracking deliveries. It connects with e-commerce platforms and multiple couriers, giving teams one place to ship faster, reduce manual work, and keep full control over costs and delivery performance.

The Challenge

We need a Business Development Representative to help ShippyPro scale its presence in the global shipping, logistics, and supply chain ecosystem. You will identify and engage e-commerce brands, retailers, 3PLs, logistics providers, marketplaces, and tech teams (ERP/WMS/OMS) that need to simplify and automate their shipping operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Generate and qualify new business opportunities through outbound prospecting across the e-commerce, logistics, and supply chain tech landscape.
  • Research and target high-potential accounts and verticals, identifying key stakeholders such as Heads of Logistics, Supply Chain Managers, Operations Directors, CTOs, and eCommerce Managers, and mapping decision-making processes.
  • Book discovery meetings for the Account Executive team by communicating ShippyPro’s value proposition.
  • Maintain accurate activity tracking and reporting in HubSpot, including calls, emails, meetings, and opportunities created.
  • Partner with Marketing on campaigns, lead nurturing, and market feedback to improve conversion.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed KPIs for outreach, qualified opportunities, and pipeline contribution.
  • Use a consultative approach to understand how companies manage their end-to-end logistics stack (ERP, WMS, TMS, OMS integrations).
  • Identify pain points related to carrier fragmentation and multi-carrier complexity, manual shipping and fulfillment processes, lack of automation in order-to-delivery workflows, and shipping cost visibility and optimization.

What You’ll Bring

  • 1‑3 years of experience in SaaS sales, logistics or supply chain business development, ideally in a fast‑paced B2B environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport with prospects.
  • Resilience and persistence: comfortable with high-volume outreach and motivated by results.
  • Curiosity and consultative mindset: you want to understand customer challenges and spark interest in solutions.
  • Strong interest in logistics, supply chain, e‑commerce operations or SaaS platforms.
  • Experience using tools such as HubSpot, Apollo, or similar CRM/automation platforms.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: proactive, adaptable, and energized by opening new markets and working with complex, technical products.
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical and operational workflows.
  • Fluency in Italian and English; an additional language is a strong plus.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to logistics companies, e‑commerce operations, or SaaS tools in the supply chain space.
  • Understanding of concepts such as order management systems (OMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and fulfillment/3PL workflows.
  • Familiarity with e‑commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, etc.
  • Interest in API‑based products and integration ecosystems.

Benefits

  • Meal vouchers (remote or onsite).
  • No clock‑in/out policy.
  • One‑time home office allowance.
  • Company welfare and mental healthcare.
  • Expenses‑paid trips to HQ for meetups.
  • Remote flexibility: work from wherever you like.
  • Continuous learning budget and AI tools.
  • Career growth programs with clear paths and feedback.

Compensation

Fixed salary within the €27,000–€39,000 range + 30‑40% bonus.
