As Business Development Manager you will lead market development and sales growth in targeted sub-verticals by engaging directly with large end customers to expand LG’s presence and profitability.

This role requires strategic market analysis, ecosystem management, and solution selling to grow LG’s footprint and profitability. It focuses on developing the go-to-market strategy for the assigned market and being responsible for sales growth and profitability, targeting both existing and prospective new customers across the Italian territory.


We are hiring 2 Business Development Managers:


  • 1 BDM for the HOSPITALITY sector
  • 1 BDM for the ENTERPRISE sector


WHAT THE ROLE IS ABOUT

  • Analyze, segment, and target areas of the assigned vertical market
  • Define the ecosystem and stakeholders of key target accounts and develop activities to increase LG's presence in the assigned market
  • Identify new demand in the assigned vertical sub-industries through key account management and networking with vertical ecosystem partners
  • Develop customer offerings based not only on LG’s internal portfolio but also on external components and services through partnerships that enhance LG's competitiveness and profitability
  • Guide the category business development team to penetrate each sub-vertical locally by providing presentations, market data, and training
  • Define the activity plan to boost LG’s presence at industry events, either directly or via partners
  • Deliver weekly updates on activities and opportunity forecasts; follow up on the Business Plan and execution targets
  • Utilize the CRM system to track opportunities and provide transparent reporting to all internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with logistics and service departments to support or improve processes, ensuring high service levels and customer satisfaction during and after the sales process


Qualifications & Skills

  • Academic background in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
  • 5+ years of proven experience in strategic selling within a B2B environment, ideally in electronics or software/digital solutions
  • Experience in the relevant channel/market with key end users
  • Demonstrated ability in solution selling and new customer acquisition
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire, engage, and lead by example with both colleagues and customers
  • Strong analytical skills to articulate complex issues and deliver actionable, measurable results
  • Entrepreneurial mindset; proactive and capable of working across functions, business units, and countries
  • Strategic thinking and a deep understanding of the B2B ecosystem
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of building strong relationships with key decision-makers
  • Fluency in both English and Italian (written and spoken). Native-level proficiency preferred
