Atelier ATHEM is a creative scenography studio based in Paris, and part of The Independents group. We design brand scenography projects that are both distinctive and meaningful — combining creativity, technical expertise and a strong environmental approach.
As we prepare to open our new office in Milan, we’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our growth locally. You’ll help us build strong partnerships in the worlds of luxury, retail and culture, real estate, and make ATHEM known in the Italian market. The candidate must have international experience in order to potentially open other markets in Europe as well
What you’ll do
- Identify new business opportunities and build long-term client relationships
- Stay informed about key market developments (projects, events, launches, renovations)
- Lead strategic client accounts and make sure they are fully satisfied
- Work closely with our Paris teams (creative, project, production) to prepare tailored proposals
- Coordinate project briefs and support internal teams during kick-off
- Promote ATHEM in Italy: attend events, grow our network, share our vision
- Potential to contribute to growth in other International markets
What we're looking for
Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in business development
- Strong background in luxury, cultural or creative industries, real estate
- A strong professional network and deep knowledge of the Italian market (Specifically in Milan) and ideally international as well
Key skills
- Proven track record in prospecting and negotiation
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- A strong commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence
- Native Italian speaker, fluent in English; French a plus.
