A pioneer in plastic recycling, the organization specializes in supplying high-quality recycled plastic materials such as rPET, rPE, and rPP. With a strong global footprint and deep industry expertise, it supports sustainable manufacturing by providing reliable, eco-friendly raw materials to partners across multiple countries. To accelerate growth across Europe, the team is now seeking a Business Development Manager to drive market expansion and forge strategic partnerships in the region.


The role

  • Identify and pursue new leads, analyse markets, and implement strategies to expand the customer base and drive revenue growth.
  • Manage the full sales pipeline via CRM and close deals.
  • Build strong client relationships, understand their needs, and secure long-term contracts. Ensure smooth delivery by collaborating with internal teams.
  • Develop business development plans aligned with company goals. Monitor market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities and risks.
  • Work closely with marketing, procurement, and operations to ensure alignment and effective onboarding of new clients.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts.
  • Track industry trends and competitor activity, and maintain accurate CRM records.


Your profile

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development or sales in the plastics or recycling industry .
  • Strong knowledge of PET plastics , including material properties, applications, and industry standards.
  • Proven track record of generating new business, achieving sales targets, and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strategic thinker and a team-player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven , “hunter-type” proactive in identifying and pursuing opportunities.
  • Thrives in a remote, entrepreneurial, and mission-driven work environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events (approx. once a month).
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
