About the Role
You will be based in Parma/Reggio Emilia as a founding member of a growing, well‑funded company. Your focus will be on developing new relationships with Italy’s premium restaurants and partnering with new stores. You will report to the Sales Lead.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Map, prospect, pitch and close new restaurants across your region in an organized fashion.
- Support partners in joining Deliveroo, providing the best experience to them.
- Communicate with restaurants (physical visits, email, calls, or social media) to demonstrate Deliveroo technology.
- Help restaurant owners/managers overcome any barriers or hesitations.
- Attend restaurant and food meet‑ups.
Requirements
- Comfortable with targeting new business and have sales experience.
- Confidence or experience dealing with partners/customers face‑to‑face, by phone, or via email.
- Experience demonstrating product and industry knowledge to clients.
- Comfortable with negotiations.
- Knowledge of the restaurant industry is a significant plus.
- Tenacious work ethic.
