Business Development Manager – Lecce (FTC 12 months)

About The Role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager based in Lecce. This is a rare opportunity to become a founding and important member of a growing, well-funded company. You’ll collaborate with Italy’s most premium and regarded restaurants. As a member of the regional sales team, you will report to the Sales Lead and focus on developing new relationships with restaurants and stores.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Map, prospect, pitch and close new restaurants across your region in an organised fashion, becoming an area‑level expert with knowledge of up‑and‑coming restaurants and customer favourites.
• Support partners in joining Deliveroo, providing the best experience to them.
• Communicate (physical visits, email, calls, or social media) with restaurants to demonstrate Deliveroo technology.
• Help restaurant owners/managers overcome any barriers or hesitations.
• Attend restaurant and food meet‑ups.

Requirements

• Comfortable with targeting new business and have sales experience.
• Confidence or experience dealing with partners/customers face‑to‑face, over the phone or via email.
• Experience in demonstrating product and industry knowledge to clients.
• Comfortable with negotiations.
• Knowledge of the restaurant industry is a significant plus.
• Tenacious attitude.
