Are you interested in further expanding our lighting business as a “Business Development Manager”?

We are looking for a driven, experienced, and dedicated Business Development Manager with a desire to succeed!

  • Lighting knowledge
  • Technical and commercial skills
  • Well-balanced tactical and operational skills
  • Customer-focused with an intrinsic passion for excellent customer service
  • Practical, hands-on mentality
  • Clear verbal communication, including the ability to communicate empathy and be concise
  • Persuasive sales skills and ability to influence
  • Experience with Salesforce (nice to have)
  • Experience with basic Microsoft programs like Excel and Word
  • Fluent in English and Italian

Your responsibilities:

  • Execute the commercial policy for the professional lighting channel
  • Build coverage in the assigned region, supporting and monitoring agency work
  • Develop a business case with the Country Manager and Head of Sales for regional expansion
  • Find and develop new customers (installers, contractors, end users)
  • Develop new projects and report in Salesforce
  • Provide training to agencies and customers in Italy
  • Work closely with agencies on BLE system presentations and collaborate with HQ for system development
  • Gather market information and communicate with Opple marketing team
  • Meet targets and budget
  • Manage internal relationships between channels and departments
