Business Development Manager Italy – Dental Industry
On behalf of our client, a multinational company in the dental sector that is launching operations in Italy , we are looking for a Business Development Manager Italy . The role is designed for the start-up phase of the Italian market and combines direct commercial responsibility with the opportunity to evolve into a broader managerial position as the organization grows locally.
Key Responsibilities
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing the Italian market through direct commercial activities, with a strong hands-on approach . The role includes managing relationships with key customers, distributors, and dental practices, actively driving sales performance, and contributing to the definition and execution of the go-to-market strategy in Italy.
Main Activities
- Direct development of sales activities in Italy , including field sales and commercial meetings with key stakeholders in the dental market.
- Management and development of relationships with key accounts, distributors, and dental clinics.
- Achievement of agreed sales targets and systematic monitoring of performance.
- Contribution to market analysis, identification of growth opportunities , and competitive monitoring.
- Close collaboration with headquarters and cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, quality, and finance.
- Active contribution to the future set-up of the Italian sales structure.
Requirements
- Experience in sales or business development roles within the dental industry or closely related medical sectors.
- Strong track record in developing new markets or business opportunities, preferably in start-up or early-stage contexts.
- Solid knowledge of the Italian dental market, including dentists, oral surgeons, periodontists, and distributors.
- Strong commercial mindset with a hands-on and entrepreneurial approach.
- Fluent English is required.
