We’re looking for a Business Development Intern who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty.

Why PILLAR exists

The Italian construction industry doesn’t have a work problem.

It has a cash flow problem.

Construction sites generate revenue but don’t collect payments, Excel sheets everywhere, decisions made “by gut feeling,” and entrepreneurs realizing too late they’re in trouble.

PILLAR was created to solve this problem at its core.

A platform that allows construction companies to:

  • Have real-time visibility over cash flow

  • Reconcile invoices and bank transactions

  • Manage construction sites more efficiently

  • Stop running their business on intuition

If we manage to do this at scale, we can truly change a part of the Italian economy.

And that’s exactly what we’re trying to do.


Who we’re looking for

You’ll join PILLAR’s Sales team as a Business Development Intern .

We’re at a stage where:

  • Processes exist, but need to be tested and improved

  • New joiners have a real impact on how we sell

  • 2026 will be an intense year

We’re not looking for someone who wants a “comfortable job.”

We’re looking for builders.

Specifically, someone who is:

  • Highly motivated, eager to grow in a startup aiming for 10x growth in a year

  • Not afraid to cold call and capable of persuading others

  • A fast learner who wants to step out of their comfort zone

  • Proactive and excited to face new challenges every day like a true entrepreneur

What you’ll do

  • Cold calling: convince potential clients that PILLAR can solve their problems

  • Receive training and refine your sales pitch

  • Help build processes with the rest of the team

  • Contribute to developing PILLAR’s sales playbook

  • Provide continuous feedback on product and market
