Experteer Overview

As a Business Development Director, you will shape the growth agenda for the group, starting with the German market and expanding to key vehicle segments. You will drive strategic BD plans, build strong OEM and Tier‑1 partnerships, and align cross‑functional teams to capture opportunities. You’ll analyze markets, lead complex negotiations, and report progress against targets. This leadership role offers impact in a mid‑sized, engineering‑minded company focused on high‑quality powertrain solutions.

  • Develop and implement strategic BD plans to drive German sales growth
  • Identify opportunities in passenger and commercial vehicles and in agriculture, construction, and mining segments; long‑term: military/defence
  • Build and maintain relationships with global key clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Finance and PM to align sales with company objectives
  • Analyse market trends and competitors to identify strategic opportunities
  • Lead contract negotiations and close significant deals
  • Monitor and report sales performance against targets

Responsabilità

  • Master in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Proven sales and BD track record in Automotive Tier‑1 industry
  • Experience with OEM and Tier‑1 purchasing and engineering teams
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to analyze markets, manage and close complex deals
  • Results‑driven with hunter mindset
  • Fluency in German and English
