Job Title : Business Development, Battery Energy Storage Solutions (BESS)

Location : Remote home office, residing in Italy.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the energy storage utility application sector.
  • Conduct research and analyze regional market insights, including product technology, application trends, and government policies.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key accounts, managing projects from lead to cash process.
  • Formulate revenue plans for Europe key accounts and drive sales expansion among utilities to meet KPIs.
  • Understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions.
  • Record and manage business opportunities, contracts, and developmental status in the company CRM system.
  • Build and manage a network of project utilities, investors, developers, IPPs, EPCs, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills to establish trust and credibility with decision-makers.
  • Manage customer relationships from acquisition to ongoing support.
  • Create and maintain project specifications, ensuring timely and accurate submissions that meet customer and business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in BESS industry business development, with successful project or customer development in energy storage utility applications in Europe, or related fields like photovoltaics, wind energy, or power electronics.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially between European regions and the company's HQ in China.
  • Ability to travel at least 30% for client visits.
