Business Development and Project management in Rural Development and the environment

Location:  Rome - Italy

Sectors : Rural Development, Environment.

Work experience:  2-3 years of experience in a similar European consulting company.

Language:  Full proficiency in written and spoken English, knowledge of French and/or Spanish is an asset.

Job description:

·   Identification of relevant business opportunities and new potential projects and partners;

·  Preparation of Expressions of Interest and Support to the preparation of technical offers;

·        Identification and selection of experts, editing and reviewing of curricula vitae;

·        Establishing and maintaining contacts and networking with partners and experts;

·        Undertake short-term missions and business trips abroad.

qualifications and skills :

·        At least 2-3 years of proven success in business development with an EU-based consultancy company focused on agriculture/environment;

·        Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines;

·        Plan, organize a team of experts, monitor progress and review contributions;

·        Availability to travel in developing states, sometimes at short notice.

Education & Experience : Master degree in a relevant area, e.g. Agriculture, Environment,

Natural Resources Management, Development Studies, or similar.
