About The Role
Position Summary
Supply Chain Assurance delivers global supply chain audit and assurance services, including SMETA, Responsible Supply, RBA, RSCI, ASI, ICS, and other assessment frameworks. Starting January 2026, this service line plays a pivotal role in enabling sustainable growth and operational excellence, while delivering innovative audit and assurance solutions to strengthen supply chains resilience across global markets.
The SCA Business Controller ensures financial transparency and discipline across these services and provides financial insight to support sound decision‑making. This is a senior finance role within Business Assurance, combining regional and local controller responsibilities with global accountability for SCA financial performance across countries and regions. As part of a newly established organisation, the role requires a hands‑on, detail‑oriented approach, with a strong focus on building, cleaning, and stabilising financial structures. The position reports directly to the Global Controller of Supply Chain Assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate monthly closing, quarterly forecasting, and annual planning
- Oversee global financial performance across regions, countries, and schemes
- Ensure financial results are accurate, complete, timely, and compliant with DNV’s internal Management System guidelines and BA governance principles
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including variance analysis and commentary
- Ensure consistent financial processes and interpretations across countries and regions
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Monitor critical balance sheet items including accounts receivable, work in progress, accrued costs and provisions
- Provide insight and challenge on pricing and margin development, and scheme and customer profitability
- Work closely with SCA management teams, operations and delivery, and with GSS Finance and accounting teams
- Solid experience in business controlling, preferably within a global or multi‑country environment
- Experience in Business Assurance, professional services, or project‑based organizations is an advantage
- Proven track record in monthly closing routines, financial planning, forecasting, and performance management
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and management teams
- Strong tools skills (Eg. NGF, Oracle, Basware, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
