GE Vernova is looking for an exceptional Bushings Sales Specialist to join our Sales team based in Milan, Italy.
Let’s Talk about the Role
The Bushings Sales Specialist will manage the Inquiry-to-Order (ITO) process for the Bushings product line, supporting technical and commercial activities from customer inquiry through to quotation submission.
You will join the Global Bushings Sales Team and support Regional Account Managers and the Product Sales Team in delivering competitive, technically sound, and customer‑focused proposals. This role combines commercial awareness with technical expertise and plays an important part in defining solutions, coordinating costing and lead times, and ensuring accurate handover into execution phases. Reporting to the Bushings Global Sales Leader , you will work cross‑functionally with Sales, Tendering, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams in a dynamic multinational environment.
How You Will Make a Difference
- Managing customer inquiries across the full Inquiry-to-Order (ITO) process, from technical definition to costing and price generation.
- Supporting Sales Managers with technical input and commercial coordination for customer proposals.
- Defining technical solutions that meet customer specifications, in collaboration with Tendering teams when needed.
- Establishing product costing and lead times with Procurement, Supply Chain, and Tendering stakeholders.
- Ensuring accurate tracking of technical specifications and costing data to support contract execution.
- Contributing to a strong handover into the OTR phase to enable successful product customization and implementation.
- Resolving technical and commercial support issues using sound judgment and escalating complex matters where required.

- The ability to work cross‑functionally with Sales, Tendering, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams.
- The capability to manage documentation, process tracking, and quotation activity with strong attention to detail.
- An understanding of customer specifications and how to translate them into practical technical solutions.
- An expertise in technical support, costing, quotation preparation, and lead time definition.
- A strong command of English, with Italian considered an advantage.
- A keen interest in the electrical industry, with experience in power transmission or distribution considered a plus.
- Good problem‑solving skills and the ability to operate effectively within established procedures and guidelines.
A formal education and subsequent University Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field are a must have.

This is a permanent position based in our Milan, Italy office. We have a hybrid working model which gives you flexibility to work from our offices and from home.
