BU Manager (Microsoft 365)

Location: Milan (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite)

We are supporting a fast-growing European technology consultancy in their search for a Business Unit Manager to lead and grow their Microsoft-focused practice in Milan.

This is a hands‑on leadership role combining people management, commercial ownership, and technical credibility, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft 365 technologies and enterprise infrastructure environments.

You’ll take ownership of a BU, drive growth through client engagement and sales activity, and act as a trusted leader for both customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a Microsoft-focused Business Unit with full responsibility for delivery, people, and commercial performance
• Drive sales and pre‑sales activities, working closely with clients to identify new opportunities
• Act as a senior stakeholder in enterprise Microsoft 365 engagements, including:
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Exchange
  • SharePoint
• Oversee infrastructure and cloud‑related initiatives, including complex enterprise environments
• Support and contribute to M&A‑related technical integration activities
• Manage, mentor, and grow senior consultants and team leads
• Collaborate with wider European leadership on strategy, growth, and innovation

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a BU Manager, Practice Manager, or Senior Manager role
• Strong background in Microsoft 365 technologies (hands‑on earlier in your career)
• Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure and cloud environments
• Demonstrated success in sales, client management, and business growth
• Experience working in consulting or professional services environments
• Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels
• Based in or willing to commute to Milan (2–3 days onsite)
