Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bridge Expert with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in bridge engineering, design, assessment, and rehabilitation. The ideal candidate will play a key role in leading complex infrastructure projects, providing technical expertise, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, analysis, and rehabilitation of bridge structures (steel, concrete, composite).
- Perform structural assessments, load rating, and inspections in compliance with relevant standards and codes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders throughout all project phases.
- Review and approve design calculations, drawings, and technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
- Support project management activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk assessment.
- Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client engagement.
- Build, lead, and manage high-performing bridge engineering teams, including recruitment, mentoring, and performance development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural specialization preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in bridge engineering.
- Strong knowledge of international design codes (e.g., Eurocodes, AASHTO, or equivalent).
- Demonstrated experience in bridge design, inspection, assessment, and rehabilitation projects.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., MIDAS, SAP2000, CSI Bridge, or similar).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with complex or iconic bridge structures.
- Knowledge of BIM and digital engineering tools.
- International project experience.
- Familiarity with asset management and life-cycle analysis.
