We are looking for

Branch Manager for Italy

Responsibilities

• Comply with local regulatory needs as well as CySEC / Consob laws and directives.
• Implement the group strategy in the local market and represent the company locally.
• Maintain relationships with customers, authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee and supervise the day-to-day operations of the Branch and provide reporting to the head office; attend executive meetings and collaborate with group-wide teams.
• Ensure Branch compliance with relevant Italian legislation; liaise with the Compliance Officer, AML Compliance Officer, and management regarding compliance matters.
• Support the operation and administration of the company in the local market.
• Manage relationships with counterparties and vendors in the best interest of the Company.
• Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions and corrective actions to address challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
• Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, and business needs.
• Ensure office requirements are in place and adequate.

Requirements

• Excellent organizational skills.
• Past experience in a regulated institution is a must.
• AML / Compliance or similar certification is a strong plus.
• Past experience with Consob is a strong plus.
• Ability to strategize and plan ahead.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A bachelor’s degree in business management, compliance, legal or a related field.
