Branch General Manager – China, Shanghai

We are seeking an experienced Branch General Manager to lead and expand our operations in Shanghai, driving business growth and strengthening our presence in the Chinese market.

This is a full-time position based in Shanghai.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Leading and managing the local branch, ensuring operational and commercial excellence
• Defining and executing strategic business plans aligned with corporate objectives
• Driving sales growth and expanding market share in China
• Managing key customer relationships and developing new business opportunities
• Overseeing financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and KPI monitoring
• Coordinating with headquarters and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and performance
• Representing the company in the local market, fostering strong relationships with partners and stakeholders

• Proven experience in a senior management or branch leadership role
• Strong background in business development, sales strategy, and market expansion
• Mandatory experience in the power transmission sector (e.g., gearboxes or related technologies)
• Solid understanding of the Chinese industrial market and business culture
• Fluent in English; Mandarin Chinese is considered a strong asset
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze KPIs, budgets, and profit & loss statements
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills
• Results-driven mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and international environment
