Overview

Position Title: Senior Credit Risk Analyst
Department: BU ELS / Underwriting / Underwriting Sales & Partnerships
Reporting Line: Underwriting Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with internal risk policies and procedures
• Conduct expert analysis and evaluation of financing applications (short and medium-term), in line with applicable procedures and Group credit policies, issuing decisions within delegated authority or escalating as appropriate
• Review and monitor requests and decision-making delegations assigned to national contributors
• Assess contractual amendments and requests related to the existing credit portfolio
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of risks associated with the BU portfolio
• Oversee credit-related matters in joint ventures and strategic partnerships

Candidate Profile

• University degree in Economics or Quantitative Sciences
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in credit risk assessment within leasing, financial services, or banking institutions
• In-depth understanding of credit evaluation principles and methodologies
• Familiarity with debt restructuring processes and Public Administration procedures is considered an asset
• Strong skills in financial and budgetary analysis
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and/or French
• Demonstrated autonomy in managing assigned tasks and making decisions within delegated authority
• Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal stakeholders
• High level of reliability and commitment to achieving objectives within established deadlines
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to synthesize complex information
• Team-oriented mindset and collaborative approach
