Billing Specialist

Job Summary

The Billing Specialist has the primary responsibility for accurate invoice coordination and submissions.

Essential Functions

• Handle the active billing process
• Calculate, verify and handle commissions
• Monitor and resolve billing issues (e.g., invoice rejections)
• Manage Administration of agency contracts
• Handle the collection and retrieval of documentation from field personnel
• Perform all administrative tasks required to ensure office efficiency
• Support and backup for order and credit collection activities

Required/Preferred Education And Experience

• Bachelor's degree or diploma - administrative/economic focus
• At least 2 years of prior professional experience in billing and accounts receivable
• Knowledge of the main billing processes and administrative procedures
• Preferable experience in companies interacting with Public Administration, along with knowledge of related processes and administrative workflows
• Good knowledge of the English language
• Good knowledge of MS Office - particularly Excel and Power Point - and familiarity with ERP systems (Navision Microsoft Dynamics)
• Assertive, respectful, friendly, team-oriented character
• Organizational skills and ability to manage priorities
• Flexibility, organization and attention to detail
