Experteer Overview

In this role you will lead Tender Engineering activities to ensure global target cost, tender budget and planning are met. You will manage the engineering team assigned to tenders and coordinate with the Tender core team to align interfaces. You will analyse customer requirements, identify gaps with reference products, and produce technical documentation and an engineering proposal. You will assess risks, define QCD commitments, and secure validation from the Site Engineering Director and Bid Manager. You will contribute to greener and smarter mobility by shaping competitive tender submissions.

• Lead the engineering effort for tenders to meet QCD targets
• Manage engineering resources allocated to the tender
• Coordinate interfaces with Tender core team and internal stakeholders
• Conduct technical exchanges with customers and analyze requirements
• Prepare technical documentation and engineering proposal for tender submission
• Define best compromise for gaps (mechanical, functional architecture) and assess risks
• Establish engineering QCD commitments including master planning, costing, PDO, and risk management
• Obtain validation for engineering assumptions from leadership
• Identify and plan actions to cover technical risks with Platform and Metiers

Responsabilità

• B.Sc Engineering or higher
• +3 years of design experience
• Proficient in English; Italian preferred
• Detailed knowledge of product architecture, operation and performance
• Train operation and maintenance knowledge
• Knowledge of Engineering development DFQ sequences
• Engineering Costing knowledge
• Design to cost approach
• Understanding of tender process and key players
• Customer-oriented approach
• Good communication and relationship skills
