We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Bar Manager to lead the bar operations at one of hotel Torre del Barone Resort & Spa. The ideal candidate will oversee team coordination, service excellence, and beverage quality, ensuring a refined guest experience aligned with Mangia’s hospitality standards.
Responsibilities :
- Managing and coordinating the bar team, overseeing activities, discipline, professional appearance, and service quality to ensure guest satisfaction
- Inspecting the work environment to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations
- Anticipating guest needs, responding promptly, and accommodating all requests
- Supervising beverage preparation and ensuring the quality of the products served
- Keeping up with international trends to define industry-standard expectations
- Regularly inspecting storage areas to maintain cleanliness and organization
- Monitoring beverage inventory to ensure adequate stock levels
- Leading pre-shift briefings with team members
- Inspecting staff grooming and attire, addressing any deficiencies
- Planning work schedules and weekly shifts for the bar team
- Reviewing beverage sales and costs, and reconciling any accounting discrepancies
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the role within luxury hospitality or similar environments
- Proficiency in French and English
- Extensive knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Familiarity with local and national regulations regarding alcohol service
- Strong skills in team management and inventory control
- Customer service orientation
- Understanding of basic accounting principles, personnel management, and marketing
- Precision and attention to detail
