What Do We Look For?
- High school or Associate’s degree graduate
- Minimum 2 year of experience in a restaurant bar section
- Good knowledge of hygiene standards with high attention to cleanliness and order
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive and energetic attitude
- Flexible and adaptable to shift work and varying working hours
What Will You Work On?
- Prepare hot beverages such as tea and coffee with consistency and quality
- Support bartenders during service by ensuring they have all necessary supplies and assisting with guest needs when required
- Restock liquor, beverages, garnishes, glassware, utensils, and other bar items, ensuring proper rotation of stock (FIFO)
- Set up the bar before service and assist with bar closing procedures in line with opening, closing, and weekly checklists
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and coffee areas, including counters, surfaces, equipment, and storage spaces
- Operate, clean, and perform basic troubleshooting on coffee and tea machines, reporting malfunctions to the Bar Manager as needed
- Receive, unload, and store bar deliveries in an organized manner, following manual handling and safety procedures
- Wash, polish, and handle glassware, tools, and bar equipment carefully to minimize breakage
- Prepare fresh juices, soda, and garnishes for cocktails and mocktails, as well as other beverage prep (e.g., lemonade or cocktail batches) required by operations
- Empty bins, dispose of waste (including broken glass), clean spillages immediately, and ensure dispensers are refilled regularly
- Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and occupational health and safety standards at all times
