Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Banquet Manager based in Venice. The Banquet Manager will oversee the planning and execution of banquet events, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include coordinating with clients, supervising staff, managing event setups, monitoring food and beverage services, and ensuring all events are executed seamlessly. The role also involves collaborating with events, sales and f&b departments, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.


Qualifications

  • Strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to create exceptional guest experiences
  • Experience in a luxury hotel or a luxury event organization company
  • Excellent Communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients
  • Experience in Food & Beverage operations to ensure quality service and product delivery
  • Proven ability in Hiring and managing staff to build a capable and motivated team
  • Organizational and time management skills to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges during events
  • Previous experience in banquet or event management is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages such as Italian is a strong advantage
