In just a few months, we’ve supported 30+ international research firms, running large-scale, AI-moderated interviews across 50+ languages.

About the Role

We're looking for a skilled back-end engineer to shape and implement cutting-edge features that move our platform forward, while maintaining and improving our real-time multimedia infrastructure.

You'll work closely with Gio, Glaut’s cofounder, to design architectures that scale seamlessly and perform with low latency — and deliver features that delight users.

This is a remote position , but we have a strong preference for candidates based in Italy .

• Python & Back-End strength : Deep experience with Python (FastAPI) and async/concurrent programming
• Cloud & DevOps : Confident with AWS, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and rollout practices
• Media Handling : Experience with real-time media streams, codecs, and audio/video edge cases is a strong plus

What You’ll Do

• Architect & Build : Collaborate with the CTO to design scalable, resilient services — and implement both back-end and front-end features
• Innovate & Enhance : Deliver new features around real-time media, ensuring top-tier reliability
• Optimize Performance : Refine the stack to improve latency, throughput, and overall UX
• Support the Team : Contribute to the technical roadmap, influencing infrastructure and product direction
• Experience with AWS and Azure
• Used non-relational databases
• Familiar with streaming protocols , WebRTC , or low-level networking
• Strong production debugging and performance tuning skills
