We are looking for an Avionics Engineer – to support Integration, Verification, Validation and Qualification activities for Satellite Avionics systems, including Data Handling (DHC), Attitude and Orbit Control (AOC/AOCS) and Failure Detection, Isolation and Recovery (FDIR).
The role covers avionics testing, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) activities and the development of Real-Time Environment (RTE) simulation models in C/C++, compliant with ESA ECSS SMP standards, as well as test execution, reporting and customer reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform IVVQ activities for satellite avionics systems;
- Develop real-time and non-real-time HIL test environments;
- Develop RTE simulation models in C/C++ (ECSS SMP compliant);
- Develop and execute test sequences for AOCS, DHC and FDIR;
- Perform Avionics V&V at Avionic Test Bench (ATB) level;
- Analyze AOCS/DHC design documentation and define test strategies;
- Program models using Matlab/Simulink;
- Prepare test procedures and reports and support customer reviews.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Electrical, Computer or Control Engineering;
- 2–3 years of experience in avionics or IVVQ roles;
- Fluent English (C1+).
Technical Skills
- Satellite avionics, AOCS, DHC, FDIR;
- Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing;
- C/C++, Matlab/Simulink;
- ESA ECSS standards;
- Data Handling hardware (OBC, RTU, GNSS, microprocessors);
- Avionic EGSE and spacecraft simulators (plus).
