Avionic System Engineer

For an emerging project in the aviation sector TXT Group is looking for a Hardware and Software System Engineer for an aerial surveillance system.

Main responsibilities

• Definition of Hardware and Software architecture;
• Configuration of the operating systems;
• Design and development of the surveillance system network;
• Drafting of documentation.

Technical skills required

• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems;
• Ability to use bash scripting;
• Ability to configure a TCP/IP network.

Optional technical skills

• PC and Hardware assembly skills;
• Knowledge of avionics interfaces MIL STD 1553B, ARINC429, serial, ethernet etc;
• Familiarity with standard laboratory instrumentation (oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, etc).
• Sensor physics (Radar, ESM – Electronic Support Measures, IFF- identification friend or foe).

Required Degree

Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.

An excellent knowledge of the English language, aptitude for team work, flexibility and proactivity, and the ability to learn complete the profile.
