TXT E-Tech , part of the TXT Group , is looking for an Avionic Software Engineer to join its team.
The selected candidate will be involved in the development and verification of both Application Software and Target-Specific Software in support of the Store Management Controller, for a major client in the Aerospace sector and for activities in the military domain.
A full-time on-site presence at the client’s in Caselle is required for this project.
Main responsibilities:

• Requirements definition;
• Design activities;
• Coding activities;
• Debugging;
• Definition of test cases and related procedures;
• Bench Support activities;
• Structural Coverage Analysis;
• Verification & Validation (V&V) in accordance with DO-178C and EFA standards.
  
  

Required technical knowledge:

• Excellent knowledge of at least one programming language (C, C++, Ada, Java);
• Strong knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python);
• Familiarity with version control tools (SVN, Git);
• Experience with requirements analysis and related tools (DOORS);
• Knowledge of model-based design and code generation tools (Simulink, SCADE);
• Basic understanding of real-time operating systems (VxWorks653, PikeOS, Green Hills Integrity);
• Understanding of embedded real-time systems;
• Basic knowledge of avionics communication protocols (ARINC 429, CanAero, MIL-STD 1553);
• Basic knowledge of general-purpose communication protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, UARTs);
• Familiarity with software engineering processes and standards (DO-178B/C);
• Good knowledge of the English language.
  
  

Optional technical knowledge:

• Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Access);
• Scripting languages for database interfacing/automation (JavaScript, VBA).
  
  

Required education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related fields.
Strong teamworking abilities and excellent problem-solving skills are essential to complete the profile.
