Company Description
Dataforce Italia is a market analysis company specialized in the automotive industry. Our key clients include car manufacturers, dealerships and major rental companies, who rely on our data to monitor market performance and manage their business effectively.
We are looking for a motivated intern to work closely with our BI team, assisting in data-driven projects to enhance our products. This role requires a combination of analytical thinking, technical knowledge, and strong communication skills.
Key Requirements
- Full-time internship (Hybrid – Rome, Italy)
- Starting date: February-March 2025.
- Duration: 4-6 months
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written, level B2/C1), knowledge of German is a plus
- It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.
Main Tasks
- Support the development of insightful metrics, dashboards and reports for internal use and customer needs
- Contribute to the translation of business requirements into Data Analytics Projects that generate value
- Contribute to maintaining data assets (tables, reports, data visualization tools…) and the team wiki page by documenting your work
Your Profile
- Master’s Degree (or equivalent) student in Engineering, Science, or Economics focused on Analytics Applications
- Proven experience in related projects
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to independently conduct data analysis
- Flexibility and motivation to work in the automotive sector
- Ability to develop functional, creative, and innovative solutions for complex projects
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to foster a stimulating and positive work environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Soft Skills
- Fluency in English to manage communication with the European HQ
- Proactive and positive team collaboration
- Clear and structured communication of ideas and proposals
- Goal-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and quality
Technical Skills
- Ability to understand business cases
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Good knowledge of R and its libraries
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Familiarity with Data Visualization fundamentals and at least one tool, such as QlikSense or Tableau
