Automation Software Developer

Our company has a long heritage in Automation software development.

We are now scaling up and looking for an automation software developer to join our Embedded Automation & Tools development team specializing in industrial software solutions.

The team is e.g. responsible for developing and maintaining competitive and scalable control software libraries for various packaging equipment.

We believe that you will be one of the automation control experts in the team and collaborate with other developers in the team with similar skills.

We like to hire a consultant with a long-term ambition together with us and you will be based in Modena, Italy but work in a global arena.

What you will do

As Automation Software Developer , you will make an impact by:

• Developing and validating the next generation packaging control libraries for industrial usage
• Developing hardware abstraction layer and application layer software libraries
• Working in a scrum and agile setup
• Collaborate with your colleagues located in Modena, Italy and Lund, Sweden

We believe you have

• Minimum 2 years’ expert experience working as an automation software engineer skilled in:
• Structured PLC/Control system programming (Beckhoff PC-based automation system TwinCat)
• Motion control
• Validation and testing
• It is beneficial if you also are familiar with:
• Communication bus systems like IOLink, EtherCAT & Ethernet/IP
• Sensor & transmitters HW
• IPC configuration
• Fluent in English, both in writing and verbal
