Our group is an established player in engineering services and technical consultancy for manufacturing companies, leveraging a strong internal team with solid know-how in product development, simulation, prototyping, validation, reliability analysis and technical documentation development.
The goal of the application is to foster the growth of our system integration team.
We are looking for automation or electrical engineers with experience in systems design, integration and installation, focused primarily on industrial applications and machinery.
This is a hybrid full-time role concerning the complete development process of industrial machinery lines, from concept to commissioning, delivering innovative and performing solutions.
What is the challenge?
ACTIVITY :
- Understand and analyze technical specifications
- Conduct feasibility studies to determine the most appropriate technical solution
- Specify electric, robotic and automation systems requirements
- Develop functional and detailed designs
- Develop or verify control application and software code through PLC, HMI, SCADA technologies
- Design or verify data architectures based on industrial network protocols
- Monitoring test plan definition and validation execution
- Support during installation and commissioning
- Problem solving about process control and technical troubleshooting
- Working in a multidisciplinary team, with senior mechanical system, safety consultants and other electrical technicians
- Represent a reference for the knowledge base of junior engineers
- Grow to become a team leader for system engineering team
PROFILE :
The ideal candidate has good experience (3+yy at least) in automation engineering, with focus on automation technologies for industrial lines.
Practical experience on system specification and commissioning phases, supply chain management, working towards objectives and, in general, on manufacturing technologies, are nice to have.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Knowledge of automation systems fundamentals (PLC, HMI, SCADA, industrial network protocols, major industrial automation technologies
- Experience on integrated industrial systems design
- Electrical design proficiency
- General knowledge of commercial industrial components and subsystems
- Experience on industrial machinery specification, development and commissioning
- Proactive, willing to collaborate with a dynamic team and a demanding market
- Available for visiting customers
- Good English, spoken and written
