Automation Engineer

Responsibilities and duties

• Design of: electrical diagrams for automation control panel, distribution, power switchboards and wiring layout, with related drafting of working drawings, work documents and contractual documentation concerning the electrical part, taking into account also of the customer's design requests and technical specifications
• Drafting of the logic documents needed for the Software Engineer to develop the software
• Participation in meetings requested by the customer about automation, safety and operation of the plant
• Management of orders for the electrical side and positive relationship with customers and suppliers
• Preliminary support to the sales office for correct understanding, during the offer phase, of the customer's technical specifications and alignment with them.
• Support and control for the construction activities within the plant

Job Requirements and skills

• Degree in Automation, Electronics, Information Technology Engineering
• Experience of at least 5 years in the field, possibly with knowledge of compressed air and technical gas treatment systems
• Good knowledge of CAD software, preferably Spac Automation for drafting electrical diagrams
• Ability to read and understand complex electrical diagrams
• Knowledge of power electronics components, electrical drives, automation of electrical systems, electrical measurements
• Knowledge of testing methodologies in the automation field
• Familiarity with industrial PLC and HMI systems
• Availability for short trips both in Italy and abroad.
