For an important company in the area, we are looking for an AUTOMATION ENGINEER.

About the Role

The person, part of a team consisting of approximately 8 members, will be involved in software design, commissioning, electrical testing, and final safety verification of industrial machines for packaging.

Qualifications

• Degree in electronic, computer, mechatronic, or industrial engineering with at least a basic level of autonomy in the automation sector
• Previous experience in the bottling industry, or if holding only a high school diploma
• Good/excellent knowledge of the English language
• Knowledge of basic spoken Italian is essential

Required Skills

• Excellent programming skills in C++, structured text, Ladder
• Knowledge of B&R programming is appreciated
• Knowledge of the Office suite
• Availability to travel for about 2 weeks to oversee product installation at the client's site and to resolve any issues
• Willingness to provide remote/telephone support to assist technicians and/or clients during installation and in troubleshooting bugs or problems during or after installation

• The ideal profile is also naturally inclined to manual work, as a natural consequence of the design and study work.
• They enjoy teamwork as a means to achieve collective goals, are flexible in changing their usual activities to accommodate shifting priorities, and are collaborative.

Pay range and compensation package

• A subordinate, permanent contract with a trial period
• An indicative gross annual salary (RAL) of €30,000 – €45,000, depending on experience
• A partially employer-covered company canteen
• Welfare benefits according to the metalworking industry collective agreement
