Automation Engineer (Level 1)

Position: Automation Engineer (Level 1)

Our Center of Excellence Electrics/Automation is looking for an Automation Engineer (Level 1).

Location

Tarcento (UD), San Donato Milanese (MI), Genova.

Responsibilities

• Development of automation solutions, primarily focusing on software for controlling plant.
• Takeover of Level 1 software programming and associated tests, including functional commissioning at customer premises.
• Participation and leading of meetings with SMS internal team, customers, sub-suppliers.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Bachelor/Master degree in Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science.
• Proof of programming competence in PLC Automation Systems (S7‑TIA, S7‑400), Rockwell ControlLogix, Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT.
• Knowledge of HMI platform development; Siemens SIMATIC WinCC.
• Analytical competence and ability to work in a team.
• Very good English language skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office.
• Willingness to travel worldwide.
