Job Description
- To manage and oversee the implementation of automation technologies and strategies in a manufacturing environment, enhancing efficiency and adhering to industry standards.
- This role involves designing and implementing hardware and software solutions according to Standard Operating Procedures and the Global Automation Policy.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for cooperating with engineering teams to implement technology roadmaps, defining system interfaces with IT infrastructure, and supporting site engineering activities.
- Key responsibilities include developing control and automation designs based on cause-and-effect documentation, ensuring accuracy and reliability of instrumentation and control systems, and actively identifying process quality and safety improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Advanced knowledge of Distributed Control and Safety Systems and/or PLC applications.
Awareness of integrated process control SIMATIC Batch (batch processing).
Good demonstratable knowledge of Batch process.
Working knowledge of GAMP and GEP.
Database administration experience (SQL).
Advanced PLC programming skills (e.g., STL, SCL).
High-level programming languages (e.g., C, C++, VB).
Completed structured system testing and documentation such as FAT/SAT/OQ protocols.
Familiarity with Siemens products and experience with Process Control System software installation, configuration, and updates.
Experience in maintaining and upgrading PLC or DCS control systems.
Experience in designing, maintaining, and upgrading network infrastructures.
