We are looking for a passionate Assortment Planner to join the Merchandising team, located in Milan. The Assortment Planner will support the business by analyzing store performance and product assortment, working closely with regional buyers and retail merchandising to improve sales results across different markets.
Your Main Responsibilities Will Include

  • Analyze data to define store clusters based on performance and needs.
  • Continuously monitor store performance to ensure cluster consistency, proposing changes when needed.
  • Analyze the collection and in-store assortment, focusing on coverage and sales opportunities in different markets.
  • Constantly review the assortment to identify the right SKU mix and rotation for each store, proposing periodic replacements to improve performance.
  • Actively support regional buyers in the use of the buying tool.
  • Be an active part of the development and improvement of the buying tool, in line with company goals and buyers’ needs.
  • Be a key reference point for company reporting, related to collection performance, assortment and coverage.
  • Support regional teams in assortment matrix reviews and in building sales plans for the following year.
  • Work closely with collection merchandising to define the assortment strategy for the incoming seasons
Profile / Qualifications
  • Between 3 to 5 years of experience in Planning/ Assortment Planning/Retail Merchandising, preferably within the fashion industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • Able to work harmoniously and empathetically with diverse stakeholders and teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable plans with proactive approach.
  • A problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in retail systems and software (e.g. Power BI). Advanced Excel skills are a must.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident public speaker, fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Deep understanding of the luxury customer and market dynamics.
  • A strong sense of brand belonging and aesthetic sensibility.
