The Role
Are you passionate about clean energy solutions? Look no further!
The Associate Engineering and Construction (E&C) Project Manager will support the permitting, contracting, engineering, procuring, constructing and commissioning of new large scale renewable plants across various locations in Italy, working closely with the Engineering and Construction team to help ensure compliance with timelines, budgets and agreed quality standards. Reporting to the VP of Engineering and Construction, Italy, the Associate E&C Project Manager will help build and maintain productive relationships with EPC and other contractors, representatives of grid operators and governmental entities, internal stakeholders and various service providers across the Italy renewable portfolio.
The Associate E&C Project Manager will support several renewable plant projects in parallel across Italy, assisting the Engineering and Construction team throughout the plant lifecycle from development and engineering to construction and operations. They will help keep cross-functional teams informed in a timely manner of project information relevant to their work, and will support the review of contractor documentation for completed plants under the guidance of senior Project Manager colleagues. The Associate E&C Project Manager will assist with monitoring, analysing and reporting on performance and incidents during plant construction, contributing to safe and efficient work sites and to continuous improvement in renewable engineering standards, best practices and QA/QC aspects.
At Sonnedix, we’re building a future ready team with AI literacy, the ability to leverage digital and AI tools to improve efficiency, innovation and productivity across all roles.
Desirable skills
Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or equivalent
Interest in developing contract negotiation skills, with strong written and verbal English
Familiarity with the Italian renewable market and grid connection procedures, with a foundational understanding of project management principles
Interest in using or developing digital tools and workflows to improve efficiency, innovation and productivity
We deploy AI across the business, from generation and trading decisions to the everyday workflows of every team. We invest in our people’s digital fluency so everyone works alongside these tools with confidence. Studies show that many qualified candidates hesitate to apply unless they meet every requirement.
In line with EU pay transparency requirements, salary ranges will be shared with candidates in the EU before progressing to the next stage of the recruitment process, and always before interview. This range reflects the typical starting pay for new hires. Pay above this level may apply in specific circumstances based on experience, skills, or role scope.
