Associate Director, Technology Strategy Consulting

Overview

In this role, you will join Gartner’s Technology Strategy Consulting team to translate technology insights into transformational actions for clients. You’ll work across your own workstreams, synthesize analyses into strategic content, and engage in client interviews to surface themes and priorities. You’ll regularly communicate with client contacts and develop high-quality strategic materials that support engagement outcomes. This is an opportunity to shape technology strategies for leaders in business and government within a fast-growing consulting practice. Responsibilities

• Deliver across own workstreams and activities.
• Contribute to hypothesis development and synthesize analyses strategically.
• Conduct client interviews and research to identify themes and priorities.
• Communicate with client contacts regularly and develop high-quality strategic content and insights for engagements.

Qualifications

• Experience in a well-regarded management consultancy in a project delivery capacity.
• Understanding in at least one core domain (e.g., Application Architecture and Roadmap, Digital Transformation, Agile/DevOps, Cloud, SAP, ERP).
• Experience working with one or more IT solutions.
• MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• Proven problem‑solving abilities and ability to adapt Gartner frameworks to client challenges.
• Hands‑on, able to manage multiple client priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Expertise with strategic consulting frameworks and building rapid prototypes for proposals.
• Strong people leadership and client relationship development experience.
