General Description:

Under the direction of the Director of Commercial Operations Italy, this individual is responsible for maximizing the performance of BeOne Medicines' oncology products in Italy, managing a team of Key Account Managers.

The Associate Director Regional Field Manager (RFM) implements marketing and sales strategies and is responsible for achieving sales targets supported by resources and budgets. The RFM also coaches and develops the commercial team.

Essential Functions:

  • Builds brand awareness for BeOne Medicines in the oncology market.
  • Establishes relationships with KOLs, study groups, and key accounts.
  • Prepares the market for product approval.
  • Implements marketing strategies for product launches.
  • Builds and structures a competent commercial field team in Italy.
  • Achieves regional sales goals and monitors performance.
  • Plans and monitors budgets for regional and cluster teams.
  • Sets sales goals and analyzes markets.
  • Identifies developmental needs of team members and provides training and coaching.
  • Provides scientific advice and support to KOLs.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with other departments.
  • Informs management of market changes and competitor activities.
  • Supervises key account plans.
  • Collaborates with Market Access to facilitate account access.
  • Works with Marketing to improve field force effectiveness.
  • Aligns strategies with Medical, Marketing, and Market Access teams.
  • Participates in scientific meetings and workshops.
  • Provides leadership to foster high performance and engagement.
  • Creates an environment that attracts and retains talent.
  • Builds strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Drives decisions focused on patient care.
  • Ensures team compliance with ethical standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in science or business, with at least 10 years of industry experience.
  • Over 5 years of leadership experience in the oncology market.
  • Proven success in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Deep knowledge of the oncology market, especially lung and gastric cancers.
  • Strong contacts with oncologists and opinion leaders.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
  • Fluent in English and proficient in MS Office.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Education Required: University degree in science or business.

Supervisory responsibilities include managing the local/regional sales team, hiring, supervising, and developing team members.

Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office.

Other qualifications include fluency in English.

Travel: Approximately 60% of the time.
