General Description:

Under the direction of the Director of Commercial Operations Italy, this individual is responsible for maximizing the performance of BeOne Medicines' oncology products in Italy, managing a team of Key Account Managers.

The Associate Director Regional Field Manager (RFM) implements marketing and sales strategies and is responsible for achieving sales targets supported by defined resources and budgets. The RFM also coaches and develops her/his commercial team.

Essential Functions:

  • Builds brand awareness for BeOne Medicines and its oncology products.
  • Establishes relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), study groups, and key accounts.
  • Prepares the market for product approvals.
  • Implements marketing strategies for product launches.
  • Builds and structures a competent commercial field team in Italy.
  • Achieves regional commercial goals and monitors performance.
  • Plans and monitors budgets for regional and cluster teams.
  • Sets sales goals and conducts market analysis.
  • Identifies developmental needs of team members and provides coaching and training.
  • Provides scientific advice and support to KOLs in hospitals.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams and manages key account plans.
  • Works with Market Access to facilitate account access.
  • Aligns with Marketing to measure and improve field force effectiveness.
  • Participates in scientific meetings and workshops.
  • Provides leadership to foster high performance, engagement, and accountability.
  • Creates an environment that attracts and retains talent and promotes teamwork.
  • Maintains strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Ensures patient-centric business decisions and compliance with ethical standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Scientific education and experience in similar roles, life science degree preferred.
  • Over 5 years of experience leading commercial teams, with oncology market expertise.
  • Proven success in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Knowledge of oncology, especially lung and gastric cancers, is desirable.
  • Excellent contacts with oncologists and opinion leaders.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
  • Motivated, solution-oriented, with a positive attitude.
  • Fluent in English, with good computer skills.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Education: University degree in science or business, with at least 10 years of industry experience.

Supervisory responsibilities include managing a local/regional sales team, hiring, supervising, and developing team members.

Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office.

Travel requirement: Approximately 60% of the time.
