Associate Director, M&A

Your Responsibility

1. Analyze investment ideas through industry research, market research, macro-economy assessment, project risk to return analysis, and competitive analysis within Renewable Energy Industry
2. Able to run a project sale process including but not limited to preparing Investment Memorandum and Financial Model, originating investors, negotiating transaction documents, etc.
3. Be able to review and audit complex financial models equipped with VBA coding independently, and deliver precise calculation results at manager’s requests.
4. M&A transaction (build and maintain data room, financial model scenarios, supporting investor Q&A process, coordinate with third parties and potential investors, etc.)
5. Support cross-border investment structuring and tax structuring (comprehend local tax regulations, and utilize external tax advisor’s guidance).
6. Support M&A execution and post investment management. Track concise periodic minutes for sophisticated transaction progress.
7. Coordinating, monitoring and reporting of multiple deals progressing simultaneously.
8. Being on top of global pipeline of project, based on that understanding suggesting appropriate capital allocation and P&L planning of the company.
9. Provide analytical and strategic support to regional business development teams

Our Requirements

1. A “Rainmaker attitude”, who takes ownership to get things done, rather than following procedures passively.
2. Master’s degree/MBA in relevant disciplines
3. Ability to co-ordinate and lead without authority in a multi-cultural team across vastly different time zones.
4. Can leave behind the attitude of how things were done in previous companies, rather take a stock of the current environment and dynamics, thrive in the existing situation and constantly seek how to improve the existing scenario.
5. 8+ years of relevant working experience (from consulting, investment banking, advisory, transaction service or corporate finance)
6. Strong ability to read and analyze complex transaction documents, numerical analysis, underlying logic
7. Deep and Wide network within the renewable energy industry is preferred
